Snazzy Snacks the Cheat’s Way
Sasha is a trained chef who studied in France and completed her practical training at The VIP LOUNGE at THE ROYAL CASINO IN MONTECARLO. She adores working with pastry and runs a workshop for Just Boutique teaching us how to make gorgeous savoury snacks the cheat’s way (with frozen puff pastry). She shows us how to make delicious savoury and decadent desert pastries. You will get to enjoy the savoury snacks (bring a bottle of wine) and then sample the desert snacks with tea and coffee.

Di is an incredibly talented chef who has a passion for patisserie. She is well known in Pietermaritzburg for her gorgeous novelty birthday cakes and stunning wedding cakes. She runs her own catering business called “Munchies” and you may well have sampled her delicious quiches, rusks, muesli, biscuits and chocolate croissants at our gorgeous open days. This multi-talented baker has found time in her incredibly busy schedule, to teach us how to make designer cakes and cupcakes.
Fancy Biscuit Making
In this stunning workshop Farhana shows us how to bake a variety of delicious butter biscuits. You will be given the recipes for 4 delicious biscuits doughs and in which she uses an assortment of ingredients like coconut, pecans & chocolate. You will also learn how to make the biscuits look beautiful.
In this gorgeous, Christmas workshop Di teaches us how to construct beautiful gingerbread houses. Di provides the recipes and templates but the gingerbread biscuits we use are already baked, and so the focus is on the construction and decoration of the house with delicious icing and sweets. You will not only learn clever skills and enjoy a delicious tea, but you will leave with your very own gingerbread house. A stunning tradition for the family or gift for special friends.
Gorgeous Novelty Biscuits
In this stunning workshop Farhana shows us how to make beautiful biscuits using shaped cutters and original templates. This will enable you to go home and make whatever your heart desires be it: Easter bunny biscuits, flower biscuits, heart biscuits, reindeer biscuits... You will get a lovely biscuit recipe, but the focus of the workshop is on practical biscuit decorating with royal icing and plastic fondant icing. The following decorating skills will be covered in the workshop: Flooding, Embossing, Basic piping, working with textured rollers as well as the use of other decorations and enhancers...
